The 11th Athletes Day Summer Special was characterized by a vibrant atmosphere, inspiring conversations, and many exciting encounters!

The Athletes Day began with the Job & Education Fair. Our partner companies presented numerous athletes with their open positions and training opportunities. The athletes were able to speak directly with decision-makers and make valuable connections for their future. Afterwards, the day continued with two inspiring interviews on stage. First, Sara Nilsson presented the most exciting insights from the research project “SheCanLead,” which she launched together with the Athletes Network. It explored which leadership qualities female team sport athletes develop and how these can be transferred into the business world. Following that, Jens Homberger spoke with Franziska Schild, General Manager of YB Women and former football player. Fränzi offered the audience fascinating insights into women’s football.

During the football test match, we also held a small betting game, and the winner was delighted to receive a great prize.

It was a successful gathering of athletes from various sports and fascinating personalities from the business world.
