In the evening, exciting breakout sessions awaited us with the following topics:

⚫ Athletes in Business: Success formula or overconfidence?!
 Dave Heiniger discussed with Alina Pätz (2026 Olympic silver medallist in curling and Project Lead for the Post-Sport Athlete Hub, Swiss Olympic), Christoph Stäheli (CHRO at SWICA) and Jérôme Thiesson (COO at FC Aarau and former professional footballer) whether ego on the field should be set aside—or whether it is precisely what drives success.

⚫ In the second breakout session, moderator Muriel Bouakaz spoke with Thomas Häberli (football coach and former player), Manuel Liniger (member of the executive board at Creditinsurance by True Partners AG and former handball player), Lea Ryter (Human Resources Director at Hilti Switzerland) and Brian Fischer (Head Global Business & Services, Private Clients & Executive Management Board Member at Bank Vontobel AG) about principles of success, challenges, and concrete approaches to true high performance in everyday work life.

 In the final session, Beni Huggel interviewed Niels Hintermann and spoke with him about his sports career and his future plans.

Networking and the Business Speed Dating sessions then rounded off the evening successfully. It was a successful gathering of athletes from a wide range of sports and exciting personalities from the business world. 😊
