The goal in sight
Middle-distance runner Luca Moser has goals in both sports and his career. Taking part in the 2028 Olympic Games would be the highlight of the 800m runner's sporting career. Despite this dream, Luca does not want to neglect his education alongside his sport. Because it is clear to him that he does not want to start from scratch at the age of 30 after his time as a top athlete. That's why Luca is completing an internship in customer service at SWICA's Lucerne regional office. With the help of SWICA, the Lucerne native wants to lay the foundations for his professional career after his sporting career.

Zoe Merz: «This effort is only possible because I really enjoy going to work.»
The subject matter is one and the same. Most of the week, hockey player Zoe Merz is on the ice. She works for our partner Evodrop AG as a 60% receptionist and administrative assistant and has learned a lot about water, apart from the advantages of the frozen state. Curling and life afterwards
For more than half of her life, Roxane Héritier has burned for curling - of course she still does, but no longer actively on the ice. She has decided to take on new challenges and goals and to acquire and develop other skills. So her focus is no longer on curling, but on training and further education and other new sports. The budding psychologist has just completed an internship as a working student in human resources at Zurich Insurance; so naturally we wanted to know how she fared, how her path continues and what she takes with her from the many years of curling into "life afterwards".
