Lia grew up in the picturesque canton of Obwalden, surrounded by the Swiss Alps and a strong sense of community. From an early age, she developed a passion for movement and performance, which inspired her to pursue a professional career in dance. While she has always appreciated the beauty of her home region, her ambition led her to Zurich, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Dance at the Zurich University of the Arts. Following her studies, Lia performed on renowned stages across Switzerland and internationally, working in highly demanding artistic environments that fostered creativity, discipline, resilience and collaboration.

Today, Lia brings this unique combination of artistic excellence and elite-performance experience to Athletes Network. She supports athletes throughout and beyond their sporting careers, helping them navigate their transition into the business world. Her primary focus is on organizing and coordinating speaking engagements and appearances with our partner companies, creating opportunities for athletes to share the mindset, experiences and lessons gained through elite sport. By connecting sport and business, she helps inspire people, encourage fresh perspectives and create meaningful value for organizations.

Alongside her work, Lia is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Sports Management at the Swiss Distance University of Applied Sciences (FFHS).
